The new trailer offers a glimpse of the fast-paced, chaotic, and slightly weird gameplay that awaits players as they take on waves of mindless woolen adversaries with their friends. 

The one-to-four-player co-op player vs environment (PvE) game drops players into an alternate reality Scotland in the early 90’s where a scientific experiment to clone sheep has gone horribly awry leading to what is being locally referred to as the ‘undead zombie sheep uprising’.

With herds of vicious livestock roaming the Highlands looking for their next victim, players must arm themselves with anything they can – bedrolls, traffic cones, chainsaws, their friend Paul – as they battle wave upon wave of monstrous sheep, lamas, highland cows, and other ferocious (now undead) livestock.

Several different sheep-killing modes will be available at launch. Those who prefer to handle their zombie sheep culling unobserved can head out solo, and for those who would rather have witnesses to the absolute carnage that awaits, up to four players can head to the Highlands hand-in-hand (although it would be wise to have a weapon in that hand instead, y’know… zombie sheep and all that).

“We are so excited to be working with the amazing team at Bunkhouse on Flock Off!,” said Keith Kawamura, CEO, Shoreline Games, in a statement.“The moorish nature of Flock Off!’s gameplay has made it unputdownable during internal playtests, and we cannot wait for players to see more of this slightly weird, but endlessly fun co-op game!”

Magnúsdóttir, creative director at Bunkhouse Games, in a statement. “Being able to work on a game that brings so much joy and laughter has been a real privilege, and we are so happy to have the Shoreline team on board for this wild (and a little bonkers) ride!”

Flock Off! Key Features:

• 1-4 Player Co-op – Cause mayhem with your friends as you team up to take on a barrage of undead live (undead?) stock, or head out alone into the Scottish Highlands 
• Unique Characters – With 4 distinct playable characters to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Always wanted to run around the Highlands killing zombie sheep as an old Scottish man? Well now you can! 
• Everything’s a weapon – No really, your environment, the food… your friend Paul. Everything is fair game in the Sheepocalypse. 
• Special Items – Alongside your arsenal of swingable bedrolls, throwable potatoes, and giant lobbable shelves, unique items provide some extra oomph to your firepower, with boomboxes, trashbags, and even glue bottles each boasting unique effects.
