, and since Gamble With Your Friends seems to be the first game from Team Gwyf, I'd say this very much proves my point.

Furthermore, it's published by a company called Tenstack. It does have prior experience in putting games out, but is nevertheless a relatively new player in the industry, having published its first title in 2024 without broad success. Relative newcomers or rookie developers are carving out an incredible chunk of the market space just for themselves as players evidently grow tired of establishment corporations rehashing old ideas and presenting them as something innovative.

Gamble With Your Friends is simple, effective, and addictive, with a lot of meme potential and free marketing that is inevitably going to come from YouTubers and TikTokers making funny clips. It's part of an interesting genre, and I have a feeling that we're going to see a whole lot of it in the coming years.

But so long as games keep evolving and innovating on the formula, I don't see the issue.
