launches on October 6, 2026. Pre-orders open today, with digital Standard and Deluxe Editions, as well as a physical Collector’s Edition, available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Physical Standard and Deluxe Editions will also be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with prices beginning at $59.99/£49.99/€59.99 for the Standard Edition. You can watch the Official Release Date Reveal trailer below.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is the latest game in the podracer subseries of Star Wars games and invites players to join the Galactic League, an unsanctioned racing circuit born in the lawless Outer Rim of the Star Wars galaxy. Players will get to step into the cockpit as mysterious pilot Shade in a thrilling single-player campaign where “alliances will be forged, rivalries reignited, and old grudges will be settled,” according to the latest press release.

Players will also get to experiment with their pod-building strategies across three distinct styles of repulsorcraft to create the ultimate vehicle. There will also be online multiplayer races for players to race and compete against each other for supremacy.

All pre-orders of Star Wars: Galactic Racer will include a free bonus livery that can be used with players’ landspeeders, speeder bikes, or skim speeders, with a unique color for the livery depending on the pre-order platform. Additionally, all pre-orders will include a free Player Banner background for multiplayer modes.

This edition comes with a physical model of the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, along with a physical banner celebrating Galactic League champion Kestar Bool, two pilot patches, a physical copy of the Digital Art Book, and a custom slip cover and steel case for the game, all inside premium Collector’s Edition packaging.

The Collector’s Edition will additionally come with a Deluxe Edition Upgrade, including all the digital items from the Deluxe Edition in-game. The Collector’s Edition is available at an SRP of $159.99/£139.99/€159.99.
