Vampire Crawlers offers a wide assortment of card choices for each cost to build your deck, and there are some terrific options. These overpowered card options will radically change the look and feel of your deck, and you can build your deck around them.

Best Vampire Crawlers cards to use
The section below has a list of cards I have been using since Vampire Crawlers launched worldwide. I have separated the choices based on their mana cost since that's an important factor. The ideal way to create combos involves using cards with different mana costs (since you have to play them in an ascending order to trigger the combos).

There's a huge list of choices in this range, and all of them are pretty useful (because they cost nothing to play). Here are my favorite suggestions.

  • Whip: This card does 8 base damage to multiple enemies. It's a cheap AoE damage dealer that works well with every crawler.
  • Armor: You can't win without a shield. You get 2 armor for no cost, and it gets better if you can create a combo with this card.
  • Empty Tome: A simple 0-cost card that rewards you with one extra mana. Extra mana is beneficial for every deck, so you should always draft this card whenever you can.

  • King ******: You deal 40 damage while also having a chance to knockback an enemy. Doing so will help you escape from incoming damage even if the enemy wasn't killed. It's a good hybrid choice that excels in offensive and defensive departments.
  • Garlic: An AoE card that deals 10 damage to every enemy in the front row. Additionally, it also disarms the enemies, which nullifies their attack for that turn.
  • Golden Armor: A 1-cost card that's an upgrade of the base Armor item. Adds 4 armor, but that can be multiplied if you can trigger a combo.
2-cost
  • Axe: An upgrade over the King ******, the Axe deals 45 damage to multiple enemies. If it manages to knock back the enemy, it will reduce the incoming attack for that turn and help you to preserve your health.
  • Unholy Vespers: An incredible card that not only has the chance to inflict a Knockback, but it also does 120 damage.
  • Pummadora: While this is a situation item, it allows you to heal 4 HP after the encounter is over. If your HP is low or you're going up against a boss, having this card can be quite useful.
3-cost
  • Thousand Edge: A straight nuker that does 180 damage, which can be increased with the help of gems.
  • Soul Eater: While it does 100 damage, you'll also heal by three, and disarm all enemies.
  • Hero's Armor: This card can apply 8 armor to your character, which is immensely useful against bosses at greater difficulties.
Some cards cost four or five mana. I have yet to unlock the full list of cards (that fall in the range of four/five mana cost), but here's an important point to consider. In Vampire Crawlers, you'll want to

, and to do so, you should be aiming to play multiple cards.

Keeping cards that cost four or five mana makes it difficult to trigger combos. You can bypass the problem by using Wild Cards, but that's heavily luck-dependent. Hence, my strategy is always to fill the decks with cards that cost zero, one, and two mana. A few items with a three mana cost can work if you have managed to
