The Capwolf boss battle has two stages to it, so his moves shift and change as the fight progresses. Understanding what abilities he has at his disposal in each phase is crucial, as you need to know what you're up against and how to avoid falling in battle. Here's a full breakdown of each phase.

• Phase one
  • Capwolf periodically selects one player to be his prey, marking and targeting them for some time after. When this happens, he prioritizes going after them above all else, essentially ignoring the rest of the team as he does so.
  • He swings his shield around, damaging those who are close to him.
  • Occasionally leaps into the air and smashes back down to the ground.
  • Charges at all enemies from time to time.
  • Sometimes throws his shield at foes, dealing damage and stunning players.
• Phase two
  • Gains the ability to heal himself when damaging his marked prey.
  • Sometimes performs a dashing pounce. If the first one misses, he tries again. If that one also misses, he'll be stunned for a bit.
  • Unlocks a channeling ability where he channels and then appears behind his targeted prey. He then pins them down and dishes out a devastating claw combo. Players can work together to deal enough damage against him to break the channel, saving the prey from an otherwise potentially deadly situation.
  • When Capwolf is close to dying, he starts regenerating health and gains a massive shield. If his shield is broken, he loses some of the health he gained. This can be triggered only once.
