Crimson Desert has no shortage of items to collect, and the Abyss Cells are one of the more important ones to get. While Abyss Cells are rare items, you'll need to find them to enhance your gear. However, they're not found in abundance, and this guide will help you out with your needs.

How to find Abyss Cells in Crimson Desert

To find Abyss Cells, you'll need to defeat Abyss foes. I found them for the first time when trying to look for Bismuth. The enemies disguise themselves as Bismuth Ores, and I found them near the Drakesfall Castle towards the north of Hernand.

There's a nearby Abyss Nexus near the castle. Drop in and farm as many Abyss Cells as possible. Next, wait for a few more days, and then use the Nexus to drop in once again and get more Abyss Cell. This is by far the best location and method to get Abyss Cells.

Image via Pearl Abyss You need Abyss cells to craft and upgrade Abyss Gears. You'll be introduced to Abyss Gears by Sylvia the Witch, but you'll have to wait before the crafting option opens up for you. At first, you can only socket Abyss Cells, but that changes when you meet Elowen in Chapter 5.

You can then use the Abyss Gears to slot them into your gear to gain different bonuses. Some of these additional bonuses, like Damage Reduction, are immensely useful and more so when you're going up against bosses.
