This year, Guardian Games gets special Orders worth 50 Bright Dust each until you reach the cap. This is likely a result of the endless fan complaints after the asinine removal of the Bright Dust grind from Dawning 2025, which was a significant part of the event in previous years.

). Bungie confirmed the addition of these two, as well as the return of the Keraunious Arc trace rifle. Perks for unreleased items in the API are always subject to change, particularly when they're still classified.

This will be the first edition of the Guardian Games since the addition of the maligned Portal in The Edge of Fate. Thankfully, it's not as one-dimensional as Solstice was, with Rushdown taking center stage. You can obtain Medallions and get copies of the event weapons by doing Portal activities, however, Bungie said in the blog post.

This year's Guardian Games doesn't seem to bring anything too special—and "nothing special" might as well be the motto for Destiny 2 in 2026 so far—but it might give content-hungry players a reason to log back in.
