Image via Embark I have also noticed that when you remain stationary in the open for a ******* of time, you raise the chances of getting hit by lightning. This is purely my experience, and I haven't found any evidence for or against this notion. However, it can't hurt to try out this theory if you're not getting struck by lightning.

When you get stuck by lightning, you will receive a lot of damage. Here are some key items to bring with you.

• At least 15 Bandages/Herbal Bandages to restore the health that you lose.
• Shield Recharges to repair the shields.
• Medium shield is preferable as it has higher hit points.
• A couple of new shields, since your older ones can break completely if you get struck by multiple lightning strikes in the same round.
