The demand for Spotter Relay in ARC Raiders has increased following the launch of the Headwinds update, and you'll need to find plenty of them on your raids.

As with almost any crafting material in the game, there's no fixed location for obtaining a Spotter Relay. Let's look at how you can find the item and then use it in ARC Raiders.

How to find the Spotter Relay in ARC Raiders

While many crafting materials can be looted from the map, there's no such luck for getting a Spotter Relay. The only way to obtain one is by destroying Spotters when they appear on the map. Spotters are flying ARCs that try to detect your location.

Spotters on their own aren't dangerous. However, you'll have to hit their core (located in the center) to take them down. Additionally, Spotters have to be eliminated quickly since they will reveal their location to a Bombardier. The latter is one of the most difficult ARCs to take down, so you need to be careful.

I have found most of the Spotters on the Buried City map. You will usually find Spotters in one or more of the locations marked on the image above. You can also look in areas surrounding Main Street. To take them down, you can aim from shade (which reduces your chances of detection).

How to use Spotter Relay in ARC Raiders

As of writing, you're going to need at least 12 Spotter Relays. Two of those Relays will be required to complete the Combat Recon quest. To finish the quest, you'll have to provide Shani with two Spotter Relays.
