Part of Premium Outlets parking lot collapses from underground *****

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – The James City County ***** Department is investigating an underground ***** at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets off of Richmond Road.

The JCC ***** Department said they were dispatched around 9 a.m. to the Premium Outlets for a possible underground *****.

Units arrived to find the parking lot behind the stores partially collapsed and an active ***** in the underground stormwater detention facility.

Out of an abundance of caution, and due to smoke, some area businesses were evacuated.

This situation is ongoing and the public is encouraged to avoid the area.
