According to Lubbock police, 43-year-old Julian Mercado was taken into custody by LPD investigators on Friday and is charged with a felony count of ******** to stop and render aid causing ****** in connection with the ****** that ******* 18-year-old Zakeria Bol, a recent Randall High School basketball standout.
