Grimmway Farms, a large California carrot grower that sells to grocery stores across the country, has issued the recall after a possible outbreak of E. coli that has already ******* one person.

The carrots were sold in stores across the country, including Puerto Rico. If you picked up carrots at Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Publix, Food Lion, Target, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe’s be sure to check the brand and the best-if-used-by date.

The recalled baby carrots had best-if-used by dates from 9/11/2024 to 11/12/2024 and brands include 365, Bunny Luv, Cal-Organic, Compliments, Full Circle, Good & Gather, GreenWise, Grimmway Farms, Marketside, Nature’s Promise, O-Organic, President’s Choice, Raley’s, Simple Truth, Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, Wegmans, Wholesome Pantry.

The recalled whole organic carrots don’t have best-buy dates, but were available for purchase in stores approximately from 8/14/2024 through 10/23/2024,
