Woman rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after car ****** in Carlisle

A woman has been rushed to hospital after a car ****** in Perth’s east on Saturday morning.

Police said there was a collision between two cars at the intersection of Oats Street and Harris Street just before 11.30am on Saturday.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, where a woman in her 70s was seriously injured. No one else was injured in the ******.

A St John WA ambulance crew attended to the woman and took her to Royal Perth Hospital under lights and sirens.

She was in a serious condition on Saturday afternoon.

The road was closed in the area but has since been reopened.
