Multiple crashes cause Conway traffic backup on Interstate 40

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Multiple crashes Sunday afternoon have caused several lanes of Interstate 40 near Conway to be backed up both east and westbound.

, three different accidents were reported in the same stretch of I-40 Northwest of Conway around 12:13 p.m.

One ****** happened at mile marker 121.7 and affected all lanes of eastbound travel.

Two more accidents were reported at mile marker 121.8, one affecting the left shoulder going eastbound that was described as a rollover and another affecting all lanes of westbound travel.

ARDOT said the accident was cleared at 1:30 p.m. There was also a single vehicle ****** at mile marker 121 three hours later that also impacted eastbound traffic.
