Barry ****** leaves two women ***** and one man critical

Two women have ***** and two men have been taken to hospital, one in a critical condition, after a ******.

It happened on the A4050 in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, at about 13:40 GMT on Saturday, and the road is still closed from the junction of Port Road East and Barry Dock Link Road to Pugh’s Garden Centre.

South Wales Police confirmed that two women ***** at the scene and two men are currently receiving treatment in hospital.

Officers said the road would remain closed until at least 02:00 on Sunday at least as investigations continue, with motorists told to avoid the area.

Sgt Craig Wood said: “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the family of the two women who have ***** in this collision.

“We are in the early stages of our investigation and are still trying to establish the full circumstances.”

He appealed for anyone driving in the area between 13:30 and 13:50 on Saturday who may have information to get in touch.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who can give us extra detail on the manner of driving of a grey Audi RS 4 prior to the collision,” he added.
