Jewellery retailer Michael Hill hopes to attract more premium customers by unveiling its first-ever brand ambassador in supermodel Miranda Kerr and ditching its decade-long use of the colour purple.

The former Victoria’s Secret model’s 18-month ambassadorship with Michael Hill forms part of its global brand overhaul to be revealed on Monday.
