‘Be patient with us’: Perth Airport’s early warning ahead of huge redevelopment

Perth Airport boss Jason Waters has appealed for patience from travellers as the aviation hub embarks on a record $5 billion development program that will inevitably result in disruptions.

Revealing a stronger annual profit by the airport, Mr Waters said site clearing for the new second runway would begin in early 2025, with construction to progress alongside work on the new hotel and the precinct’s first multi-storey carpark.
