First shipment of Gold Valley iron ore leaves Port of Esperance for China

Iron ore mined at Wiluna is now on its way to China after Gold Valley’s first shipment left the Port of Esperance last week.

The more than 78,000 tonnes from Gold Valley’s Wiluna West operation was transported by truck to Kalgoorlie-Boulder, then freighted by rail to Esperance and loaded on to bulk carrier MV Sifnos.
