Pro-************ protestors gatecrash Perth anti-semitism rally at State Parliament

Several Pro-Palestine protestors who gatecrashed a Perth rally against anti-semitism have been stopped by police, after waving anti-******* placards.

Officers warned the group, who carried signs declaring “******* ****** kids” and “Palestine will be free” they would be given move-on notices.

They appeared to leave voluntarily after negotiations with police who told them “we don’t want clashes”.

About 500 people have gathered on the steps of State Parliament waving ******** and *********** flags, for a service declaring “Never Again Starts Now” in the wake of the October 7 massacre.

The incursion comes after dozens of pro-************ protestors held a rally earlier on Sunday at Forrest Place.

At the Friends of Palestine WA rally in Forrest Place, many wore traditional keffiyeh ****** and white scarves and carried Palestine flags. Some had the green cedar tree from the Lebanese flag interposed.

One woman was carrying a bundle made to look like a swaddled baby splashed with blood.

Signs read: “******* ****** Kids”, “End Support for *******’s War *******”, “Say It Albo – this is Genocide”, “******** Kids is Not Self-Defence” and “Boycott ******* Now”.

Speakers called for diplomatic and economic sanctions against *******, and drew shouts of “shame” from the crowd when they spoke about ******* ******** hospitals and making northern Gaza “unliveable”.

Teachers for Palestine and Healthcare Workers for Palestine WA members attended the rally, which ended with a march through Forrest Place, up Barrack Street and through the Hay Street Mall.
