Tom’s Law: Premier Roger Cook puts rush on ‘sensible’ P-plate passenger restrictions

New rules restricting red P-plate drivers to one passenger will be fast-tracked into State Parliament next week, after criticism it acted too slow to combat a surging road toll.

Legislation is necessary to make Tom’s Law retrospective, so it will apply to current red P-platers when it comes into force on December 1.
