Tom’s Law introduced to save young lives: passenger restrictions announced

Young drivers will be restricted to just one passenger in their cars for the first six months of their P-plates under new road rules to be introduced in WA known as Tom’s Law.

Named after 15-year-old Tom Saffioti — who was ******* along with his 17-year-old friend Mark Bogoni when the car they were passengers in hit a kerb and slammed into a tree in Seville Grove in 2021 — the passenger restrictions will come into effect on December 1.
