Community rallies to save Kununurra’s outdoor cinema with fundraising push

Kununurra Picture Garden devotees are rolling up their sleeves to save the local icon from closure by forming a grant writing committee to raise much-needed funds for a new projector.

A sub committee has been formed to write grants and draft a five-year strategic business plan in a effort to attract sponsorship and the funding needed to make sure the show goes on for the 63-year-old community-run drive in.
