Perth Wildcats have concerns for Bryce Cotton as he waits in hospital after loss to New Zealand Breakers

Perth Wildcats are crossing their fingers that superstar Bryce Cotton isn’t seriously injured after he collapsed in pain early in Saturday’s 89-85 loss to New Zealand and was taken to hospital with fears he had damaged his ribs.

Cotton crashed to the court in the opening 40 seconds and immediately reached for his ribs. But his game ended two minutes later when the pain became too much after he slipped while moving the ball in offence.
