Young talent Ceolwulf has carried on his rapid progression through the grades, supplementing his last start Epsom win with victory in Saturday’s $5 million King Charles III Stakes (1600m) at Randwick.

Jumping second last, Ceolwulf ($6.50 TABtouch) settled fourth last on the fence, while invariable pacesetter Pride Of Jenni ($3) whizzed to the front.
