Dozens of emergency services crews are responding to reports of a ***** scare at Sydney Airport on Saturday night.

According to Seven News, the incident involves Air New Zealand flight NZ247 from Wellington to Sydney.

The flight is carrying up to 140 passengers and landed safely in Sydney in the past hour.

Up to 40 emergency crews have swarmed the tarmac to respond to the alleged ***** scare.

The *********** Federal Police and Sydney Airport have been contacted for comment.

NSW Police said they were aware of the reports but declined to comment.
