Bazzana to make senior *********** baseball debut

*********** baseball’s history-making prospect Travis Bazzana is about to make his senior national debut.

The 22-year-old from the Ku-Ring-Gai Stealers club in Sydney has been named in the *********** roster for the Premier12 tournament, the sport’s world championships.

The November 13-24 tournament will be held in Japan and Taiwan.

In July, Bazzana made sporting history became the first *********** to be picked at No.1 in the Major League Baseball draft, signed by the Cleveland Guardians.

It was the first time an *********** had been recruited in the opening round of the draft.

The big-hitting infielder is now forging his career in the Guardians’ minor league system.

While no players currently on a Major League roster are eligible, Australia’s squad will feature three players with experience at that level – outfielder Aaron Whitefield and pitchers Warwick Saupold and Lewis Thorpe.

*********** baseball great and former major leaguer Dave Nilsson will manage the team.
