Matilda Bay Brewery’s former life as a car factory sees it added to WA’s heritage register

A former car factory turned brewery in North Fremantle has had its rich history recognised by being added to WA’s heritage register.

Heritage Minister David Templeman said the Ford Motor Co Factory on Stirling Highway, which operated between 1930 and 1987, was added to the register after a rigorous process.
