How to Defeat Jagged Peak Drake

Want to learn how to defeat Jagged Peak Drake in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree? FromSoftware made sure to include optional bosses in this latest expansion that are powerful but not overly difficult. With some simple preparations, you can be on your way to defeating these bosses.

Considering the difficulty of bosses like the Divine ****** Dancing Lion, Putrescent Knight, and Promised Consort Radahn, we can say that Jagged Peak Drake is definitely not something to worry about. However, it’s still best to be careful and strategic. Here is the easiest way to defeat this boss.

Peak Drake is located in an empty plain between the Suppressing Pillar and the Finger Ruins of Rhia in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. You’ll encounter this dragon several times during your adventure, which makes it much easier to track him down.

To encounter him for the first time, you need to clear the Dragon’s Pit and defeat the Ancient Dragon-Man boss. If you’re having trouble finding it, you can follow the Pillar Path Waypoint Site of Grace located southwest in the Gravesite Plain.

After progressing through the ***** for a while, you’ll reach the Dragon’s Peak Terminus Site of Grace. In the area just below, you’ll find the Jagged Peak Drake sleeping next to the dragon fossils.

If you’d prefer to skip this for now and head to the second encounter area, you can go to the Foot of the Jagged Peak Site of Grace and follow the rocky path upward from there. At the end of the path, you’ll see two Jagged Peak Drakes fighting each other.

How to Prepare to ****** Jagged Peak Drake?

When fighting Jagged Peak Drake, using Torrents is pretty important.

Now that you know the locations of the Jagged Peak Drake, it’s time to start preparing for the ******. Using Torrent will always make your battles easier, including against this dragon.

That said, you can quickly approach, strike, and retreat before things get too dangerous.

The Jagged Peak Drake’s most significant ******* skill is its ***** breath. It may be helpful to equip the Flamedrake Talisman before the ****** to boost your resistance to it.

This will reduce ***** damage and increase your chances of winning the ******. Similarly, you may want to keep the Boltdrake Talisman handy.

Any additional preparations beyond these may be a waste of time. Keep in mind that this dragon is optional and not very difficult to defeat.

Jagged Peak Drake’s weakest point is his legs.

The most logical location to encounter the Jagged Peak Drake is at the Foot of the Jagged Peak Site. Since the two dragons are fighting each other, they will significantly reduce each other’s health bars.

Tip

While his legs are the best area for you to *******, you should also consider attacking his head to deal more damage and end the ****** sooner.

You have two options here. The first is to wait for the ****** to end and then ******* the dragon whose health has been significantly reduced. The second option is to join the fray as soon as you see them and ****** both dragons simultaneously.

If your character is not very strong and you don’t rely heavily on your Elden Ring skills, we recommend waiting for the ****** to finish.

When fighting the Jagged Peak Drake, you need to be on guard against its tail sweeps, flame breath, and leap attacks.

The most open areas to ******* the Jagged Peak Drake are its legs, but you shouldn’t spend too much time there. After you strike, retreat immediately; otherwise, he may make you regret it. If you follow this strategy, you can defeat this troublesome boss.
