WA Premier Roger Cook says removing labels like ‘baby boomer’ will help maintain peace in the workplace

A State Government guide calling for West Australians to stop using generational terms — such as “boomers” — is about maintaining peace in workplaces, the Premier says.

Speaking after The West revealed the Department of Communities guide into ageist language, Roger Cook said he didn’t know if the term “boomer” was offensive.
