Elden Ring is known for having some of the most bizarre and difficult boss fights. It has many bosses that will force you to retreat to the cavern to train more to have a fair ******. This is quite a normal aspect of the game made by FromSoftware.

However, one boss in Elden Ring’s DLC expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, was so bizarre and unexpected that it threw all the theories we had about the game out the window. This boss reveals their true identity surprisingly.

Boss fights in Elden Ring are often accompanied by cut scenes. Whenever you encounter a cut scene while facing a large ******, it means that you have encountered an important ****** that needs to be ******* for you to progress further in the story and expand on its huge lore.

However, this was thrown right out the window with Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame, who upon the first encounter seems just like a little helpless guy who is extremely easy to defeat. However, things take a drastic turn when you ***** it once. A cutscene gets triggered where Midra reveals his true identity, completely catching you off guard.

His cutscene is also one of the coolest in the game. He rips off his head and uses his exoskeleton as a ******* while transforming into a flaming ****** from your worst nightmare. Midra is considered to be among the top 3 bosses in the game by a wide array of people.

Godrick, the Grafted, lord of the Stormville Castle, is known for his greed for power and his ability to graft his body parts in the most bizarre ways possible.

He is one of the early bosses in the game who also gives you a pretty challenging ******. He is the first boss you will encounter, based on the approach you take, that will have a second phase after his health declines, triggering another cut scene.

However, Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame’s cutscenes are still considered by some to be far superior to Godrik grafting a dragon’s head on his arm, which too is quite cool.
