A man has suffered “significant” facial injuries after being bitten in the face by a dog on a property in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Emergency services were called to a private property near Kenilworth – a rural town in the Sunshine Coast region, north of Brisbane – about 2.51pm on Sunday after reports of the incident.
