Key play in Perth Wildcats’ overtime loss to Tasmania JackJumpers given tick off approval by NBL

The NBL have ticked off the controversial play which sent Perth Wildcats’ game against Tasmania to overtime after the JackJumpers came from behind to win 84-79.

The Wildcats led for most of the game, then lost control of the contest in the final quarter before Ben Henshall gave them a three point lead with 4.2 seconds remaining. Tasmania captain Clint Steindl moved down the sideline as he inbounded the ball after a time-out, got the ball to Milton Doyle and he nailed the three-point buzzer beater to send the game to overtime.
