Credit: News Corp Australia A rescue helicopter was called to the showground to fly one man with “significant potentially life-threatening head injuries” to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, according to Queensland Ambulance spokesman. The other skydiver was taken in a stable condition with a leg injury to Princess Alexandra Hospital. The mid-air collision incident comes months after a 20-year-old skydiver was flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries following a skydiving accident in the Brisbane Valley. It’s understood the man collided with a power pole during his descent, and was found unconscious and barely breathing by paramedics in May this year.
