Car falls off El Paso’s Transmountain Road. Woman ***** in Red Sands ATV ******

An El Paso police mountain rescue team was sent to assist in a “high angle rescue” after a vehicle fell off the side of a mountain in a ****** near the summit of Transmountain Road, police said.

The eastbound lanes of Transmountain Road were closed because of the single-vehicle accident on the West Side of the mountain until about 8:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, when they were reopened, the Texas Department of Transportation said via the X platform. The westbound lanes of Transmountain Road remained open.

A 24-year-old woman has ***** following an all-terrain vehicle rollover ****** late Sunday night in the Red Sands desert area off Montana Avenue, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Dianelys Crespo Gonzalez ***** from the injuries she sustained in the ATV ******, sheriff’s officials said.

Deputies were dispatched regarding the single-vehicle accident soon after 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, in the desert off-roading area in eastern El Paso County, officials said.

The investigation into the ****** continues with assistance from sheriff’s special traffic investigators. No further details were released.
