Suspect in Eugene Fern Ridge Trail ***** case arraigned in Lane County court

Creek in Eugene on Aug. 8 was arraigned on charges in a Lane County Circuit Court on Monday.

According to the Eugene Police Department, officers responded to reports of a ***** on the bike path just before 11 a.m. The woman described the suspect as a white man, about 40 years old, with brown hair and last seen wearing a ******-and-white sleeveless shirt with writing along the back, green shoes and a tattoo on one of his arms.

The suspect was seen pushing a bicycle and later used it to flee, the EPD said in a news release at the time.

Timothy Colnar, 42, was booked at the Lane County Jail on Sept. 26 for an unrelated warrant out of Lincoln County on a charge of fourth-degree ******** constituting domestic ********* and harassment.

Though it was not immediately clear how investigators tied Colnar to the case, he was officially charged on Monday with first-degree *****, first-degree unlawful ******* ************ and first-degree ******* ******, according to court documents.

Colnar has a pretrial conference hearing on Nov. 11 and, as of Monday evening, remained in custody at the Lane County jail.
