Tallahassee police investigate ********* at hemp shop; ‘all involved parties identified’

The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a ********* at a Florida Hemp Distribution store.

Officers arrived at the business located at 220 West Tennessee Street just before 6 p.m. where they found “an ****** male deceased inside the business,” according to a TPD news alert.

The ********* was a result of a *********, TPD spokesperson Heather Merritt said, marking the 47th serious ********* in the capital city and county this year.

, 18 people have ***** and at least 39 people have been injured so far in 2024.

All involved parties have been identified, but no one has been taken into custody as of Friday night. Merritt said whether the victim and suspect knew each other and the circumstances of the fatal ********* are still under investigation.

The ******* occurred in the hours after Tallahassee and dozens of other cities began to pick up the pieces left in Hurricane Helene’s wake.
