Alarming spike in animal cruelty cases across WA blamed on cost-of-living pressures

The cost-of-living crisis is contributing to an alarming spike in animal cruelty cases across the State because families are struggling to afford to feed their pets.

Concerning figures exclusively obtained by The West *********** from RSPCA WA show a 25 per cent increase in the last financial year of reports to the organisation of animals without sufficient food or water.
