Urgent bushfire alert warns too late to leave for some

Residents on a series of streets in northern Sydney have been told to take shelter immediately from a large bushfire as it is “too late to leave”.

The NSW Rural ***** Service issued an emergency warning at 3pm AEST on Saturday, telling people on Pinduro Place, Jersey Place, Maybrook Avenue, Kirrang Street, and Lady Penryhn Drive in the Cromer Heights area that they are at risk.
