Swans soar into AFL grand final with big win over Port

Sydney have crushed Port Adelaide by 36 points in a lopsided AFL preliminary final at the SCG, cruising into the grand final.

The Swans seized control in the second quarter, with Isaac Heeney starring as his side prevailed 14.11 (95) to 8.11 (59).

Logan McDonald’s foot injury in the second half was one of few concerns for the minor premiers, who will face the winner of Saturday night’s preliminary final between Geelong and Brisbane at the MCG.
