*********** presidential candidate Donald Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity, his campaign has said in a statement.

It said no further details were available.

Reuters could not immediately determine where Trump was located when the campaign issued the statement.

Campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump was injured in an ************** attempt in Pennsylvania on July 13.

Trump was in Palm Beach on Sunday, the Wall Street Journal said.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club is based in Palm Beach.
