The woman has been named as 43-year-old Rachel Simpson. In a short statement, the PSNI said they responded to a concern for safety at a house in the Castlereagh Road area shortly after 22:30 BST on Friday. Ms Simpson’s body was discovered in a garage beside the property. The man ******** in custody at this time. Officers and forensics remain at the scene and the investigation is ongoing. A post mortem will be carried out to establish the cause of ******. Police are appealing for anyone with information, particlarly between 17:00 – 22:30 BST to contact them.
