WAFL: Peter Sumich pulls out of South Fremantle coaching race

Peter Sumich won’t be making a return to South Fremantle next season, with the club favourite saying he was “about 90 per cent there” before opting out of the coaching race.

Sumich had been considered the frontrunner to take over from the departed Todd Curley, who opted not to seek a contract renewal to end his 10-season tenure as the Bulldogs’ longest-serving coach.
