The Sooshi Mango comedy trio have won millions of fans all over the world by poking fun at the people closest to them.

The Melbourne-based trio, brothers Carlo and Joe Salanitri and their friend Andrew Manfre, parody Italian-*********** suburban life, dressing up as older Italian dads and Nonnas, But as they have discovered, the quirks and customs of their families are not wholly unique. It seems almost everyone, no matter their cultural background, can recognise something in Andrew’s stern Italian dad character Sam, or Carlo’s fussing Nonna Carmela. Everyone, it seems, except the actual people they are based on.
