Sitting back on the couch at my family home, controller in hand, alongside my little brother, enjoying a game in local co-op. Unfortunately, it’s not often that we receive new releases with couch co-op as a core feature. Does Space Marine 2 have couch co-op? It would fit perfectly! Can You Play Couch Co-op in Space Marine 2? Unfortunately, as is all too common these days, Space Marine 2 does not offer couch co-op. It doesn’t have any local co-op features available on day one, and we’re not entirely sure developer Saber Interactive intends to add such a mechanic in the future. What this means is that you cannot connect two controllers or hot-seat alongside a friend or family member in the same room while playing Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. You must all have a copy of the game if you wish to play alongside your friends! Should you wish to play co-op in Space Marine 2, and I don’t blame you because it’s definitely made as a cooperative experience, then you have two options. You can either play the story mode, which follows Titus in a race to save yet another system amid an invasion, or you can play the game’s Operations mode, which features a series of co-op missions that tell background stories running behind the scenes of Titus’ squad in the campaign. While the game currently has only a handful of co-op content, the studio did offer a roadmap that indicates additional PvE missions are coming in the next few months! Space Marine 2 is an absolute achievement, oozing that fun factor we desperately want from our video games. But does it support Ultrawide monitors?
