‘Unwarranted concern’: Workplace Relations Minister Murray Watt tries to pacify anxious WA miners, employers

New Workplace Relations Minister Murray Watt has tried to mollify WA business groups confused and uneasy about the potential consequences of a raft of new employment laws, saying there has been “unwarranted concern” in some cases.

Following confabs with various WA unions on Monday, Mr Watt called a round table discussion on St Georges Terrace on Tuesday to hear exactly what was worrying the State’s employers about changes passed under new Closing the Loopholes legislation.
