Record ***** near San Jacinto grows to 650 acres; triggers evacuation warnings

A ***** just north of San Jacinto grew to 650 acres by Sunday evening, and authorities started announcing evacuation warnings.

Dubbed the Record *****, the blaze was reported in the area near Soboba Road and Gilman Springs Road just after 2:15 p.m. Sunday, initially covering five acres. By around 8 a.m. Monday, the brush ***** had spread across 650 acres and was at 15% containment, according to a social media post from CalFire/Riverside County ***** Department.

CalFire issued an evacuation warning for the following zones:

. Those who evacuate can go to a care and reception site at Nicolet Middle School located at 101 E. Nicolet St. in Banning for help, Cal ***** added.

The department also shared that six firefighters have been transported to area hospitals with minor medical symptoms.

The ***** department deployed multiple air and ground resources in response, as temperatures peaked around 100 degrees in the area.
