OFA 2024: Jerramungup and Lake Grace-Pingrup split the junior and reserves premierships in tight grand finals

Jerramungup and Lake Grace-Pingrup shared the grand final spoils in the Ongerup Football Association reserves and junior grand final, each claiming a premiership in Jerramungup on Saturday.

The Eagles gave their home fans plenty to cheer about, overcoming inaccurate goal-kicking to clinch the reserves grand final with a 16-point victory over the ********.

The hosts booted just five goals from their 16 attempts but despite their errant kicking, the Eagles held on for a 5.11 (41) to 4.1 (25) triumph.

The Eagles held a two-goal lead at the main break and held their opponents scoreless in the third, but having finished the term with 2.4, as they left the door slightly ajar for their opponents.

Jaycob Trevenen booted an astounding goal in the last quarter and was brilliant for the ******** while Levi Argent, Bryce Carruthers were important contributors.

Zac Langdon and Kade Lester were influential for the Eagles in an the tough defeat.
