Man charged, accused of ********* assaulting Shippensburg University student multiple times; police

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A man is accused of ********* assaulting a Shippensburg University student multiple times in 2022, according to police.

Blake Davis, 23, of Etters, allegedly admitted in texts he sent to the girl that he ********* assaulted her, that it was wrong and that he should have stopped, according to the ********* complaint from university police.

The alleged ******* assaults took place in the girl’s dorm and police were told about four incidents that happened each month from September to December, the ********* complaint states.

Even though the girl told Davis she did not want to have ****, she told police “he still did it anyways,” police said in the complaint.

Police were shown the text messages between the two, and Davis allegedly admitted to performing ******* acts without her consent, the complaint states. It was noted in the charges that police matched the phone number to Davis by looking him up in an online database the university uses.

When reached for comment, a university spokesperson said that Davis does not live on campus and attends an online program at the college.

“Blake Davis is enrolled in a fully online program at Shippensburg University and does not reside on campus,” the spokesperson said. “The university has no further information to share regarding this ongoing investigation.”

Davis faces a felony charge of ******* ********.

Davis is currently out on unsecured bail that was set at $10,000 and he awaits a preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov. 6.
