Jai Courtney: The WAAPA graduate and new dad embraces fatherhood in Runt, shot in WA

Jai Courtney became a dad for the first time last year, and brought some of that experience to his character in Runt, a new family movie shot right here in York.

Based on the bestselling kids book of the same name by WA author Craig Silvey, the film follows 11-year-old Annie Shearer as she and her beloved stray dog Runt attempt to save the family farm from the clutches of the dastardly Earl Robert-Barren (Jack Thompson).
