the guys pretty much all like the Ally X with the biggest criticism being the price at $800. That’s a lotta extra dough to finally have a product that they felt held a leg up on the Deck with all things considered. The OG model beat the Deck in terms of pixel count and performance in some circumstances, but the overall experience was always same or worse that the Deck (OS, amount of tinkering needed, battery life, warranty/customer support, and cost all worse than Deck). I’d say wait for a ***** if you don’t own any of them.
